In a recent revelation, popular actress Jacqueline expressed her fervent desire to work with renowned director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, citing his masterpiece Devdas as a significant source of inspiration for her Bollywood journey.
“I’ve always nurtured a deep longing to collaborate with Sanjay Leela Bhansali,” confessed Jacqueline, who currently stars in the upcoming film Ram Setu. “One of the major reasons behind my decision to enter Bollywood was Devdas and the sheer brilliance of Bhansali’s work,” she added.
Reflecting on her initial encounter with the iconic Shah Rukh Khan-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer, Jacqueline was captivated by its stunning and dreamlike visuals. “I distinctly remember watching it and being completely awestruck. The beauty and dreaminess of every frame were beyond imagination. Bhansali’s films possess immense depth, and working with him would be a dream come true for any actor, as he brings out the best in them,” she elaborated.
While already having collaborated with several prominent filmmakers in the industry, Jacqueline continues to garner attention with her exceptional dance performances, as witnessed at the recently held 23rd IIFA Awards. Her upcoming projects include the action thriller Fateh, directed by Vaibhav Mishra, in which she stars alongside Sonu Sood. Additionally, she will share screen space with Vidyut Jammwal and Arjun Rampal in the much-anticipated films Crakk – Jeethegaa Toh Jiyegaa, directed by Aditya Datt, and Federico Cueva’s project.
